LocalHop was founded in 2015 in Pontiac, Michigan — not in a Silicon Valley office, but in a community that understands what libraries mean to the people they serve. We started with a simple idea: library staff deserve technology that actually works for them.

Over a decade later, we're still that same team — eight people, deeply committed to the mission of making every library, regardless of size or budget, capable of delivering world-class patron experiences.
